The Living Arts Festival is calling all educators: If you want to showcase your talent or that of your educational program, we’re excited to feature you as part of Sarasota Rising’s closing event! If you can’t join us in person, we still want to highlight your amazing work through a short video.

Your video will be featured during The Living Arts Festival’s “You Raise Me Up” matinee performance on Sunday, November 9th. It will be integrated between the live stage performances, playing a key and uplifting role in the Closing Performance at The Municipal Auditorium.

To ensure your video looks its best and uploads without a hitch, please follow these guidelines:

To Participate

• Make a 1-2 minute video in horizontal (landscape) orientation, to showcase your education department or your performance
• Keep it positive, clean, and mission-focused
• No copyrighted music, please
• Save the file as MP4 or MOV, preferably in HD (1080p)
• Rename the file with your organization’s name (e.g., MyOrg.mp4)
• Upload your video here (Google Drive)
  
• PLEASE SUBMIT by October 31, 2025

Tips for troubleshooting

• Check your internet connection- a stable Wi-Fi network is best
• Try compressing the file if it is too large (use a free tool like Clideo
• Rename the file with just letters or numbers (no special characters like “&” or “?”
• Try another browser – Chrome or Firefox often work best with Google Drive
