Irene enjoyed a long career as a nurse, where she worked alongside husband, Dr. Mark Kauffman, for years. When they retired from the healthcare professions, they took up commercial real estate development. Irene got her real estate license and helped assemble a robust portfolio of properties which the Kauffman family still manages today. A true arts patron, Irene is active in the region’s arts organizations as both an audience member and a supporter.
