The mission of Sarasota Rising supports all area arts and cultural organizations by bringing the region’s vibrant creative community to life and boosting the local economy. Founded in 2021, Sarasota Rising unites artists, performers, and audiences to establish Florida’s Cultural Coast as a year-round destination.
Our signature event, the Living Arts Festival, transforms Sarasota into a dynamic stage for theater, music, dance, visual arts, and immersive cultural experiences. Through these celebrations and ongoing collaborations, we showcase local talent, boost the economy, and highlight what makes Sarasota’s arts scene truly exceptional.
